Russian businesses seeking to implement artificial intelligence now have a consolidated option from VK Tech. The company is bringing its computing, data storage, and applied AI services under a single corporate ecosystem, aiming to simplify deployment for its clients.
According to VK Tech CEO Pavel Gontarev, the corporate AI market is moving beyond pilot projects toward systematic implementation. "Companies are increasingly viewing AI not as a standalone product or a chatbot, but as a technology that can reshape efficiency and core business processes," Gontarev stated. He emphasized that solutions must also meet stringent data security and protection standards, driving demand for AI systems that operate within a company's secure perimeter.
To meet this demand, VK Tech has established a dedicated business AI division, led by Roman Styatyugin, former head of VK Predict. The unit's mandate includes developing a corporate AI platform and enhancing AI capabilities across the company's product suite, potentially leveraging existing VK developments like the Diona language model.
"Our primary goal is to build replicable tools for corporate clients," Styatyugin explained. "These are tools they can deploy quickly to handle common tasks, improve efficiency, and accelerate progress while maintaining team momentum." He cited the team's accumulated expertise in data, machine learning, and applied AI tools, along with cross-industry project experience, as key to understanding client-specific challenges and proposing practical solutions.
The strategic move follows a VK Tech and MARC Agency study of 154 large businesses, which found 74% plan to invest in AI solutions within two years, with 71% intending to increase data office budgets by 2026, signaling a sustained shift in corporate technology priorities.
