Smart Glasses Get a Fashion Boost with Colorful New Cases

A new startup, Lorika, is bringing a splash of color to the world of smart glasses with its Ontop cases, designed specifically for Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses. These vibrant, clip-on frame covers are the brainchild of Giorgio Di Cesare, CEO of Lorika, who was inspired by phone cases after accidentally breaking his own pair of Ray-Ban Meta glasses. The Ontop cases are made of polycarbonate plastic with elastic polymers for stability and come in a range of bright colors, giving smart glasses a bold new look. Available now for $35 or $40, these cases are compatible with the Wayfarer version of Ray-Ban Meta glasses and are planned for other styles in the future.

Di Cesare believes that while Meta has made significant strides in making smart glasses fashionable, there's still room for improvement, particularly when it comes to color options. With the Ontop cases, Lorika aims to provide a fun and stylish way to personalize smart glasses, making them more expressive and unique. As the smart glasses market continues to evolve, it's clear that fashion will play a major role in their adoption, and innovative accessories like the Ontop cases are poised to make a big impact.
