Pinterest is making a major play for your television screen. The company, whose stock currently trades at $25.91, announced a new shoppable series with Roku called "Bring My Pinterest to Life," set to launch in March 2026. The six-episode program will feature creators turning user inspiration boards into real-life rooms, with products from Wayfair, Michaels, and others available for immediate purchase. This move follows Pinterest's planned acquisition of the advertising platform tvScientific, signaling a clear strategic shift toward connected TV.

The push onto larger screens coincides with a significant leadership change. Claude (Lee) Brown, formerly Chief Revenue Officer at DoorDash and BuzzFeed, will join Pinterest as Chief Business Officer on January 20, 2026. He will oversee global sales and advertising products. CEO Bill Ready, announcing the hire on LinkedIn, pointed to the company's growth to 600 million monthly users and its AI shopping tools as foundations for Brown to build upon.

Analysts are watching closely to see if this dual strategy can reignite growth. The Roku partnership gives Pinterest access to an audience of 75 million accounts, a new frontier for its intent-based advertising. Brown's track record of boosting ad revenue at Spotify is seen as a direct response to competitive pressure from giants like Meta and Alphabet.

Yet, the market remains skeptical. Despite trading at a significant discount to many analyst price targets, Pinterest shares have fallen sharply over the last year. The upcoming earnings report on February 5, 2026, will be a key test. Investors want to see if these ambitious bets on TV commerce and new leadership can start to lift the company's average revenue per user and justify a higher valuation.
