Moscow Region Sees Significant Boost in Medical Diagnoses with AI-Powered Assistant

In a major breakthrough for medical technology, an AI-powered assistant has helped doctors in the Moscow region make over 1. 7 million diagnoses since its launch in February. The assistant, known as AIDA, uses artificial intelligence to analyze patient complaints, medical history, and diagnostic results to suggest one of 95 socially significant diagnoses. According to Maxim Zabelin, Deputy Chairman of the Moscow Region Government and Minister of Health, AIDA has been a valuable tool for medical professionals, providing a second opinion that can confirm or contradict their own diagnoses.

The system works in tandem with doctors, analyzing electronic medical records and providing its own diagnosis, which can then be accepted or rejected by the medical specialist. This innovative technology has the potential to revolutionize healthcare in the region, and its success is a testament to the Moscow region's commitment to developing and implementing AI solutions in the medical field. As Zabelin noted, the region continues to invest in AI-powered healthcare solutions, including a robot named Svetlana and a service for decoding medical tests, all aimed at improving patient care and outcomes.
