At Meta's recent 'Build to Lead' symposium in Brussels, a gathering of European political leaders and industry figures confronted a pressing issue: Europe's trajectory in the global artificial intelligence sector. Markus Reinisch, Meta's VP of Public Policy for Europe, opened the event with a frank analysis, suggesting the region faces a 'relevance crisis' rather than a sovereignty one.
