SINGAPORE — At a January 2026 gathering for its global partners, Huawei Cloud made a significant promise: stability. The company unveiled a new set of sales policies that will remain fixed for three years, a move executives described as a direct response to the volatile, fast-moving world of artificial intelligence.

“Cloud and AI represent a thirty-year journey. We are still in the early stages,” said Charles Yang, Senior Vice President of Huawei and President of Huawei Cloud Global Marketing and Sales. “Choosing the right partner is essential. This is about a long-term relationship, not immediate transactions.”

The policies are built around five specific enhancements designed to increase partner profits. These include more competitive discounts, incentives for joint project work, and expanded funds for market development. Huawei Cloud also introduced an upgraded online Partner Center, intended as a single portal for collaboration, complete with strict anti-corruption protocols.

The strategy leans heavily on the company's AI infrastructure, particularly its CloudMatrix supercomputing nodes and its suite of Pangu industry models. A Model-as-a-Service platform allows partners to access a range of AI tools. This technical foundation, company leaders argue, gives partners a tangible product to sell in a competitive market.

Evidence of the approach’s early traction was presented at the event. Partner-driven business grew more than 50% in 2025, and over half of Huawei Cloud’s Asia Pacific revenue now flows through its partner network. Testimonials came from firms in Thailand, Singapore, Argentina, and Türkiye, highlighting the network's global reach beyond China.

For partners, the three-year policy commitment is a calculated offer of predictability. In a global environment where U.S. restrictions continue to shape the tech sector, Huawei is positioning its cloud and AI ecosystem as a stable, long-haul alternative for businesses worldwide.
