Google Brings Faster, More Private AI Directly to Workspace Users

Google has updated its Gemini app for Workspace subscribers, introducing a new on-device AI model called Nano Banana 2. Announced in February, this move places Google's generative AI directly on user devices, a significant shift with clear benefits for business users concerned with speed and security.

This second-generation model processes tasks locally on a phone or computer, rather than sending data to distant servers.
